Q: Can I get my money back from a Academy which not provide proper teaching online?

I enroll in British Academy of Interior Design - October 2019, they have a policy that you can get your money back up to 14 days after you enroll. But I continued with the course, after 5 months non stop trying to pass the first assignment, I can't. The only help which I get from my tutor is just to show me some website from where to get more info, but even in this sites is no info what I need. They said that this course is for beginners who don't know nothing about interior design, but in the end is looks like is not true. Basically I didn't use nothing from their base, only was reading what they have like lecture on their website, which is absolutely basic one. I notice that they just taking money from people and don't care anymore about them. I wanted my money back, but they said that they will not give me back nothing. What I can do?

A: This could be a difficult case to pursue because the Academy did provide specific guidelines for withdrawl and refund, and a court could find those to be clear and reasonable. It's up to you, because you probably don't want to continue pouring good money after bad to chase a futile recovery (and compound your problems with legal fees heaped on top of your losses), but you could try to arrange a short and low cost consult with an attorney to review the matter quickly and briefly. Good luck
