Q: I was terminated from a job and they mailed me my personal belongings, but a few items were missing.
They told me they would compensate me but they haven't contacted me nor have they sent me anything. What can I do?

Maybe mail them a certified letter return receipt where you attach some prices of the actual receipts or comparable or identical items which you find on Amazon.com where more people shop every day. Then request in that letter that they pay you X dollars based on the current value of the items you lost within 10 days.
If they don't pay, once that period of time is up and you have received the green card proving you put them on notice, take them to small claims court where a judge will help you sort it out. Good luck.
