Plano, TX asked in Family Law, Child Custody and Child Support for Oklahoma

Q: My sons ex won't allow any communication and visits from him. She is in Oklahoma he in Arkansas anyone pro Bono please.

My sons mom is remarried and wants her husband to adopt her so she is keeping her away from him not only because she has to be in control always but because she has always gotten mad at my son and myself or her own mom and as a form to punish us she keeps my grandbaby hostage and uses her as a tool as punishment. I have years of evidence even up to a week ago from myself, my son, and her mom concerning this. I have video of my grandbaby begging her gma to call and FaceTime her because she hasn't been allowed contact. I wonder how she feels that she hasn't spoke to her dad or seen her dad in almost 9 months or longer. My son really needs help before she filed abandonment on him and he looses his parental rights. I beg someone in the area of Yukon Oklahoma to please help my son and more importantly help this baby girl see her daddy. This is a form of abuse in my eyes and she is only causing damage to the little girl we all love so much. Probono or very cheap payment plan I beg please

A: This sounds like a very high conflict case. He needs an attorney with specific experience in high conflict cases. The best attorneys for a case like this are in high demand.

You are right that he needs to act very quickly. The court will likely question why this has go on for nine months without taking legal action.

I encourage him to contact attorneys first thing Monday morning. He should then hire the attorney he feels most comfortable working with. Again, getting something filed asap is critical. I wish him the best of luck with the case!
