Q: i fell in 711 store parking lot and broke my femur can i sue california

you can always sue anyone at any time for anything.......the question is whether you would win!

what did California do wrong? what did the store do wrong?

just because you fall doesn't mean you can collect.

You must show Negligence on the other party.

A: It depends why you fell. If there was a dangerous condition in the parking lot and 7-11 knew or should have known of it, then you have a case. Get photos of the parking lot and whatever caused you to fall. If there is an elevation issue (pot hole, parking bollard, etc.) take a tape measure to get perspective on size. Then, talk to an attorney about your potential claims.

A: You might be able to sue the owner of the property depending on why you fell. If you haven't already you should go take pictures of what made you fall before they can fix it. You asked if you could sue California which I'm assuming you meant can I sue in California. Slip and falls in parking lots is difficult but depending on what made you fall - you might have a case...
