Q: Is it infringement if I posted a video with copyrighted song without profiting off the material on Twitter fan account?

More details:

-I put the words "fan account" on my Twitter bio

-The video includes a radio show where they played the "copyrighted" song

A: Copying the song from wherever you found it without getting the permission of the copyright owner is infringement. Also, it does not matter whether you do not make a profit or label yourself a "fan." Also, you may be liable for double copyright infringement, because the video and the radio show have rights as well in their work. Additionally, best to be very careful because, as the copyright owners, they could seek to have Twitter take down your account.

A: They can ask twitter to take it down, or twitter can take it down on its own, maybe using a bot that checks for infringement.
