Tampa, FL asked in Traffic Tickets for Louisiana

Q: If I pay my ticket will I still need to go to court to clear my warrant

I just got my money together to pay the ticket when they all shutdown due to the virus. I left messages and spoke with other deputies and the chief and said they wouldn't be processing warrants. Of course I get a call on the day after my ticket was due and I paid it and all. The police station told me to pay it initially on some site but the site told me they did not have authority to process traffic tickets and didn't want me to waste the money and not get it paid. So I waited to hear back and of course it was after. The lady that called never mentioned a warrant. I told her I was paying it today and taking the course to keep it off my record when I got off and she said to so that so she cod close out my case. Today I got a letter saying I had a warrant out but due to the orders of the governor the date was rescheduled for june something. I am not sure if it will just be dismissed or if it was protocol or what with everything going on
