Q: Can someone force you out of the property when the property is jointly held

I and my dad were jointly held the property 8 years ago. The property was also paid off at that time. My parents are getting a divorce due to my dad has another woman. My dad hates me for exposing his relationship. He hired an attorney for his divorce case. He proposed on the settlement that 50% of the property is his and the other 50% is for my mom. He said I have nothing to do with the property because the source bought off the property came from his bank account 8 years ago. We have been living together peaceful for 8 years till now. I contributes a lot into this property. I can't afford to hire a lawyer. I don't know if I can keep 50% of the property. How should I convince the Judge that 50% belongs to me?
