New York, NY asked in Family Law, Child Custody and Child Support for Kentucky

Q: My ex wife had the kids living in filth, I have picture proof, there was broken glass, trash, and rotten food on

The counters. She dropped my daughter on her face and failed to seek medical care. I picked up my kids 2 days later and saw the bruises on her face and cracked teeth. I took her to the hospital and she had a concussion and needed dental surgery. I've been dealing with head licewith them for ober 6 months, i treat them and get rid of it, then they go back and they get it again. We have joint legal custody and 50/50 visitation. Dcbs refused to do anything and judge refused to look at any evidence. The opposing attorney yelled over top of me in court and I only got to say a few words. I have also attempted to have child support modified to reflect the new 50/50 visitation; however, this has been denied and I am still paying as if I only have them every other weekend. Every attempt, I habe made to fix this situation and get my kids help has been overturned and overlooked. Can I file an appeal, take it to a higher court, or what can I do? I am at my whits end.
