Q: Police charged me with possession of firearm although they did not find it in my possession but in the area.
The officer stopped me but didn’t find a weapon on me. They let me go and searched area where I was stopped. They found a weapon then apprehended me blocks away. Surveillance shows me in the area making gestures around the weapon but weapon can not be seen on video.
What would be a good defense in your opinion? I was leaving work trying to get home on a crowded street filled with people. When I was stopped.
