A: You could draft divorce documents. But, why do it if you don’t really want to make it official. Agreed divorces can be handled all online in most of the courts in Harris County due to the pandemic. When you’re ready to proceed we could assist. 888-343-4529.

A: A party to a divorce is not allowed to serve their spouse with the divorce papers themselves. You should be aware that their are specific rules regarding the drafting, filing, and serving of petitions for divorce, and mistakes can be costly. I do not suggest that you do it yourself because of the probability of a costly setback is high, you could get very far in your case only to have to start all over. If you want a divorce then a qualified attorney can help you complete one and minimize the risk of any delay or unnecessary cost associated with the process.
