Q: If my vehicle was involved in an accident and someone else uninsured was driving am I liable for damages
Basically want to know if the uninsured driver of my vehicle can be liable for damages and not me even though it was my vehicle involved
A: more info needed.
however, insurance goes with the car not the individual.........thus it was an insured accident.
A: You are liable for up to $5k in property damage and up to $15k per person & $30k per accident for bodily injury for the permissive use of your vehicle. If you let someone drive your car who you knew or should have known was an unfit driver, you are liable for all of the harm caused.
