Wilkes-barre, PA asked in Traffic Tickets for Pennsylvania

Q: Stopped and given ticket for vehicle code sec 3362 sub sec A(3)

Recently got stopped going 42.187 in a 25. State trooper dropped it to 30 in a 25 and told me there would be no points and no effect on my insurance and that he was doing me a favor? Researched the vehicle code and I am confused. Is A(3): failure to yield to blind pedestrian? If that was the case, that would not be true as there were no pedestrians that day.

A: Read the ticket again. One place you say they charged you with 30 in a 25 zone. You then say you were charged with failure to yield to a blind pedestrian.

If in fact it was speeding, the cop was trying to cut you a break by giving you a non-point violation. But you don't get to quash tickets for the most part on technicalities.
