Q: I want to move 5 miles away, which happens to be across state lines. Will I lose my share of custody if I do so.

A: What does your custody order say? You need to see if there are any geographical restrictions. If not, then you are probably fine, but have it reviewed by your lawyer.

A: If you are not the custodial parent, then nothing will happen. You can make visitation more difficult on yourself.
