Hartsdale, NY asked in Consumer Law for New York

Q: How much would it cost for you to send a letter to Apple to restore my iPhone settings. I am a senior and disable

. That incident happened the previous week when I didn't have internet service outside. I since got that fixed without buying a new phone.

I called again a week later because the Home Button was stuck.

The manager said he needs to take control of my computer to help me

instead of helping he had my settings back to manufacturers setting.

I have tried for hours to resolve this. Soon As soon as I gave them the case number they don't help me. I called all sorts of agencies, all closed. I would like a letter telling Apple to restore my services. How much would that cost?

A: This isn't a law firm where you could request a bid for a letter to be written. What you describe sounds like it might be resolved more easily with trying to work with their tech support, either on your own, or maybe through a tech-savvy family member or friend. The tech support operations of these companies are geared more toward online or phone assistance than they are for traditional correspondence like letters in the mail. You could probably find someone to write a letter for you, but it might less expensive to continue efforts with tech support, or enlist the assistance of someone who could help you do that. There are also some stores in your area - you could reach out to them to see if they could offer suggestions. Good luck
