Asked in Employment Law for Oregon

Q: workplace fairness and stigma

I had to leave work during the shut down to protect my loved one from possible exposure to the virus because i work for an ESSENTIAL buisness and the state issued its people to only go out for essential items, however many people were not following the policies in place so my work environment which is hands on was to dangerous for me to stay. My state has allowed provision to open up to phase 2 so i have returned to work. My employer paid for my leave however i did not expect them to or ask for them to. now i am working 5 days a week full time while all 15+++ other employees are scheduled for 3 day's off 4 on to help limit possible exposure to the virus . Question 2: the employees who i worked with before I had to leave, most of them are singling me out and dont like me because of the whole situation. What is the laws regarding any of this?

A: You could try reposting your question under the Employment Law/Employment Discrimination (if you feel some sort of discrimination could be involved) since it remains open for three weeks. There's no guarantee that every post is answered, but in those categories, your question(s) would have better chances of being seen by attorneys with insight into the issues described. Good luck
