Oceanside, CA asked in Business Law for California

Q: I own online business. I live in California, and I want to file for LLC in Wyoming. How do I do it?

I own online businesses in Shopify, Amazon, and affiliate marketing websites. It's very important that I file for LLC for protection against lawsuits. I happen to live in California, and I want to file in Wyoming because of privacy, low-cost lawyers, and very low taxes. I am worried that I can get penalized and even fined from the state of California for filing for llc in a different state. My online businesses have no physical entities in California. I am also by myself as a single member. Would I need to file for foreign LLC in California? As an online business is there anything to worry about while I file in Wyoming?
