A: more info needed.

i would suggest you write out a detailed summary of the facts so that a lawyer doesn't have to play secretary and bill you for his/her time in writing the info out.

this is the type of case I believe most lawyers would take only on an hourly.

i don't handle this area of law but I would look for a lawyer in your area and share the facts.

are you looking to explain to a lawyer, court or jury? think ahead of time as to what you want? Ex prosecuted? sue for damages? etc

A: You should contact a lawyer who is a Certified Family Law attorney. There are many throughout Southern California. I recommend you locate a female attorney who is a Certified Family Law practitioner. I know a very good one whose office is located in Upland, California. I can't tell you her name in this format, but if you look up Certified Family Law attorneys in Upland you should find her offices on Foothill Boulevard. Do not delay another day, but contact her or any other good certified Family Law lawyer right away. But do as Mr. Gribow has suggested, and prepare a chronological statement of your story from the beginning to the present. Name all witnesses, the good and the bad. Assemble all your documentary records and put them in reverse chronological order, oldest on the bottom and newest on top. And good luck to you.
