A: In order to sue the USPS you have to go to Federal Court, because it is a Federal agency. Before you do that you have to file a government claim form, usually within 180 days of the occurrence. To do this you will probably be representing yourself unless there was a diamond necklace in the mail and it got lost. Federal Judges are some of the toughest around. Might be better to file complaints with you Postmaster, to get better service.
