Secaucus, NJ asked in Civil Litigation for Florida

Q: Mental health center in SWFL illegally recorded/listened to my calls & admitted to doing so via text. Do I have case?

A large mental health center in SWFL, illegally recorded & listened to my phone calls to the call center & the CEO admitted to doing so in a Linkedin text message.

I have screen shots of the Linked in messages with the CEO.

I never gave consent to record & listen to my calls & know for a fact that there was never a warning.

Ironically, the CEO ignored 2 messages from me in April, & 2 messages in May, when I confronted them and let them know that I never gave them permission to record & listen to my phone calls.

I know they broke the law. I have suffered damages, that include, loss of sleep, increased anxiety, increased paranoia, increased MANIA (I have Bipolar Disorder), more obsessions & compulsions (I have OCD), and an increased amount of stress that makes everything that I've mentioned much worse. I have been to therapy almost a dozen times since this happened.

I am looking for an attorney, who will file

A: Among other problems your case would have, a judge or jury is extremely unlikely to be able to find an amount for money damages. They will probably find that it's more likely than not that you would have spent the same amount on therapy in any case.
