Q: Who is liable for witness not showing up to court if sixth amendment says I have right to confront my accuser?

A: If the prosecution's witness doesn't show up, they can't testify against you. If the prosecution can't prove its case without the witness, move to dismiss. You must arrange to have your own witnesses subpoenaed.
