Hayward, CA asked in Federal Crimes for California

Q: Being followed by same guy in same car while jogging ?

I go on my jog and I’ve been noticing this man following me around for months now when I start my jog and even when I jog even across town even in completely different neighborhoods, he’s even came up to my house and made you turns and I have no doubt he’s been following me and I I seriously fear for my safety even sometimes when I finish my jog I see him waiting for me, I am absolutely scared and it’s always the same man and in the same car what should I do ?

A: This is a matter for the police, if you are being stalked. Take photos of the man, his car and the license plate; or write down the plate number and get a good description of the man, approximate height, weight, age, race, hair color, type of clothing, make and model of car, time and places where you observe him, everything you can think of. Go to your local police station with all this information- PRINT OUT THE PHOTOS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAND OVER THE PHONE TO THE POLICE- never a good idea. Allow the police to investigate. Could be something or could be nothing, but protect yourself.
