Q: 20 Can can my car be repoed legally if I was only 10 days late on my first payment

Can can my car be repoed legally if I was only 10 days late on my first payment?

I financed a used car from usave auto auction I was 10 days late on making my first payment and they repoed it in the middle of it being repoed I got in the car and called the car dealership and explained what was going on if there was any way for me to make a payment right then and there over the phone or if I could come in tomorrow in person and make a payment and them not repo my car he said that. The payments department was clise only the sales department was open so there is nothing i can do and nothing they could do for me and hung up on me and Mike are proceeded to to get repoed was that legal

I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE SOME GRACE PERIOD....HOWEVER, WHAT DOES YOUR CONTRACT SAY? IT USUALLY SPELLS OUT THESE THINGS.

I WOULD THINK A DEALERSHIP PROBABLY WOULD NOT HAVE DONE SO BUT WITH AN AUCTION??? WHO KNOWS
