A: It depends on what kind of ticket you received. First, this is best posted in Utah, since Utah rules apply, not California. It depends on what kind of a ticket you received, some tickets require you to show up, like over 100 mph, or involved in an accident, and there are plenty of roads in Utah on which you could go 100 mph- the speed limit is 80 there. You should see if the Court has a website so you can look up your ticket, or get a phone number to call about your ticket. If it has been over a year and you haven't heard anything, you are probably fine with forfeiting the bail. Finally, you could contact an attorney in Utah that specializes in traffic tickets.
