Q: If I’m moving further away from my daughter 2.5 hrs away do I get a modification to just change the location we meet?
We meet half way. So if I move would I just modify the pick up and drop off location or would I have to modify everything in the order including the child support? How does that work?
A: You must notify the other parent in writing at least 30 days in advance of a move. You may have to modify the order to accommodate the move.
A: I agree with my colleague. You will need to put in an official notification and it’s a good idea to put in the modification since it will be what you are doing going forward.
