A: A Texas attorney could advise best, but your post remains open for a week. As a GENERAL matter, there are attorneys who specialize in the narrow field of professional license defense. As a starting point, you might investigate the current status of your license on your own to save money. If your matter would involve a hearing or appeal process, you could reach out to attorneys. It's a safe bet that attorneys you speak with would advise you to stop making posts about your situation on public forums. Again, only a Texas attorney could advise you, but you could visit the website of the Texas Board of Nursing, which anyone, attorney or non-attorney alike could find, and look into whether its resources could be helpful to you. Good luck
