Atlanta, GA asked in Family Law for Georgia

Q: I need legal advice to file a petition for Grandparents visitation.

My granddaughter's mother is denying me visitation with my granddaughter whom I have been taking care of since she was born (6yrs). I have the forms to file a petition to the courts but I'm not sure if I need an attorney to file on my behalf.

A: It would be wise to work with an attorney to ensure that everything is properly handled.
