Q: If a person is in pro Se does a verification 446 have to be filed with the complaint or could it be filed later

A: If for some reason the Complaint must be verified, or you choose to make it verified, the verification MUST be attached, for it to be verified. In most cases, the Complaint is not verified and the point does not come up.

The problem of a "In Pro Se" party, comes into play, when "serving" documents. The party may NOT sign Proofs of Service; you should have a non party, over eighteen, perform service and sign the proof of service.

A: Don't Verify the complaint unless you are required to, as in an Unlawful Detainer.
