Woonsocket, RI asked in Child Custody for Massachusetts

Q: What do you file in response to a counter claim for child custody and parenting time?

My fiancé filed a complaint for child custody and parenting time. The child's mother filed a counter claim as well as a proposed parenting plan to this. What do we file in response as an "answer" to her counter claim and parenting plan? I cannot find anything online that would give us an idea of formatting for the response. Our answer would to deny her allegations as well as a solid portion of the parenting plan, as it is not in the child's best interest and denies any legal right for my fiancé to be a custodial parent or make any legal decisions regarding the child. Is there a special form? If not, do we simply write a letter to the court with our docket number?

Please help. Thank you in advance.

A: Yes, it is called an Answer to Counterclaim and denying the individual allegations is the first step.
