Q: I am a landlord and I do not have a written lease for any tenants am I required to supply them with internet

A: In Virginia, there is no requirement in the Virginia Code that requires that a landlord provide an internet connection to a tenant. Generally, this would be set forth in the written lease but since you have no such written contract, there would be no contractual obligation.

A: No, you are not required to provide internet - or any other utilities.

HOWEVER, if you haven't given them a written lease, then Virginia has written one for you and they have the right to be there for a full year. See 55.1-1204 of the Virginia Code. If you trust a bunch of politicians to write your lease for you, you have a lot more faith than I do.
