My brother was named as personal rep but declined. My father passed away almost 2 months ago so Im concerned about taxes and insurance.
A: You need to hire a competent attorney to initially analyze whether you should file for Probate or not. If so, you can ask the Court to appoint a Personal Representative, which might be you. But Probate might be unneeded or a disaster of claim filing creditors.
