Philadelphia, PA asked in Family Law for Kentucky

Q: Lost job in November 2019. We have shared parenting now. 1 wants to live with her. 15 yr old. 1 wants to live with me11

Got unemployment and we all got medical card. However she by law had to put them on her insurance as well. She had other kids on it that were not mine already. Am I liable for part of her premium? If so how is it calculated? Now I'm self employed grossing 25,000. Will they go by that gross or can I get write offs like for mileage on business vehicle, paying help, and supply like fuel for machines and such?

A: The premium is included in the child support calculation. They will figure your support of your schedule c taxable adjusted gross income, which will be $25,000 minus all legitimate business deductions. If one child is with her snd one with you, these will offset, making your support payment much more minimal than otherwise.
