Lake Charles, LA asked in Traffic Tickets for Louisiana

Q: At school, I bought a parking spot. Someone parks in it everyday. What can I do?

The school sells two types of parking spaces, reserevd and not reserved. The not reserved spots are $15 for a parking tag, and they can park anywhere in the parking lot except for the reserved spaces. I bought a reserved spot for $50. This means that I own this spot from 7:30am-3:30pm. Someone parks in my spot everyday, I am tired of it. I have told administration about the issue and they remove the person each day but then it is too late because I am only at school for two hours. I would like to know if I can call the cops to give them a parking ticket or tow them? or do I need to call a tow company myself? Just want to get the stealing to stop. I paid for something and I would like to use it.

A: Quite frankly, in all likelihood law enforcement or tow companies will not mess with this----you really need to get the school to enforce and take action against the offender.
