Miami, FL asked in Landlord - Tenant for Florida

Q: I signed a lease to move in on the 13th(its now the 19th). The landlord refuses to let me move in. What can I do?

I signed a lease to move in on the 13th(its now the 19th). The landlord refuses to let me move in because he is in the hospital, and wants to be there when I move in. I'm now homeless because I signed a lease for a place I can't move in.

I went to the house to see if anyone was there. There was a car so I rang the doorbell and knocked on the door loud enough for someone inside to hear. He then called me, told me to leave cuz he dont want me on his property. And said he would call the cops if I don't. I said I'll let them know I signed a lease and sho I ld be living there. He then said "You know nothing of the law, get off my property "

Are there any legal options I can do?
