Q: What forms would I have to fill out and what steps would i have to take to be emancipated at 16?
My mother kicked me out of the house and has forced me to live with my uncle. She still recieves a check every month in the amount of $1000 because my father died of cancer soon after i was born. This check is meant to make sure i am cared for. I no longer live with my mother and she is still using it for her own gain. I make enough money to support myself, and have a place to live.
