A: Depending on the date of arrest, you can contact law enforcement or the District Attorney's office requesting "drop charges" and/or that prosecution not be pursued but ultimately it is up to the District Attorney's office whether or not to pursue a case and/or dismiss charges if already filed. If your fiance has an attorney, you may want to speak to him if you truly do not want the charges to proceed.

A: You can go to the D.A.'s office and fill out a drop charge form.
