Q: been sued by insurance company for over 107,000$ I was involved in car accident with motorcycle I didn’t had insurance
They put it at my fault because i was turning to the left when out of saddens a motorcycle hit my rear passenger side door but there was no damage in the motorcycle and the guy walking normal now I don’t have that much money what should I do what’s my opinions if anyone can help let me know thank you
A: MUCH MORE INFO IS NEEDED.
HOWEVER, THE PERSON TURNING LEFT IS USUALLY PRESUMED TO BE AT FAULT........BUT SO IS THE PERSON REAR-ENDING YOU.
I ASSUME THEY ARE SAYING NO SIGNAL BY YOU SO NO NOTICE OF TURN.
I SUSPECT THIS CASE WAS SOME TIME AGO AS IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO GET A JUDGEMENT FROM WHICH TO SUE........OR DID THE PARTY PICK THE FIGURE OUT OF THE AIR?...........OR DID THEY PRESENT A UM CLAIM AND THEIR INSURANCE CO PAID THAT AMOUNT AND IS LOOK FOR YOU TO PAY IT BACK?
IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE THIS IS WHAT CAN HAPPEN.
YOU WILL EITHER HAVE TO HIRE A LAWYER TO FIGHT THIS OR HIRE A LAWYER TO FILE BK.......OR PAY!.............OR SEE IF YOUR LAWYER CAN EXPLAIN YOU HAVE NO ASSETS AND TALK THEM OUT OF PURSUING IT....IF YOU DON'T HAVE ASSETS.
