A: MUCH MORE INFO IS NEEDED.

HOWEVER, THE PERSON TURNING LEFT IS USUALLY PRESUMED TO BE AT FAULT........BUT SO IS THE PERSON REAR-ENDING YOU.

I ASSUME THEY ARE SAYING NO SIGNAL BY YOU SO NO NOTICE OF TURN.

I SUSPECT THIS CASE WAS SOME TIME AGO AS IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO GET A JUDGEMENT FROM WHICH TO SUE........OR DID THE PARTY PICK THE FIGURE OUT OF THE AIR?...........OR DID THEY PRESENT A UM CLAIM AND THEIR INSURANCE CO PAID THAT AMOUNT AND IS LOOK FOR YOU TO PAY IT BACK?

IF YOU DON'T HAVE INSURANCE THIS IS WHAT CAN HAPPEN.

YOU WILL EITHER HAVE TO HIRE A LAWYER TO FIGHT THIS OR HIRE A LAWYER TO FILE BK.......OR PAY!.............OR SEE IF YOUR LAWYER CAN EXPLAIN YOU HAVE NO ASSETS AND TALK THEM OUT OF PURSUING IT....IF YOU DON'T HAVE ASSETS.

A: The prior response has good information. You should hire an attorney to let you know your options or contact a Bankruptcy attorney and discuss those options as well. And never again drive without auto insurance.
