Q: I was denied a colonoscopy by my doctor in March now I have Stage 3 metastatic colon cancer. Do I have a valid case?
I reported fatigue and constipation to my doctor a couple of months before I found blood in my stool and requested the colonoscopy in March. I found blood in my stool in March and have the symptoms and she denied my request for colonoscopy because she said I was healthy and I do not have family history of colon cancer. I was rushed to the emergency room in June for labor like pain in my stomach and that’s where they found the cancer in my colon that spread to my liver. In July, I was officially diagnosed with Stage 3 Metastatic Colon Cancer to the Lymph Nodes
A: How old are you? Where are you? I notice you are posting from Chicago to attorneys in California. Your age is relevant to the issue of whether your doctor should have considered referring you for a colonoscopy

A: You should immediately call a personal injury lawyer and get a consultation. You posted this in California yet it shows you are in Chicago... Repost it in a Chicago site. Otherwise find a local attorney and get a consultation right away!

A:
much more info is necessary..........are you in Chicago or Calif? you need a lawyer in the area where this happened............IF there is a case.
have you seen a Doctor who has said the first doctor screwed up and if you had the procedure when you wanted that you would not have had cancer?
that will probably be hard to prove.
so make an appt with a local lawyer and doc to see if there is a case............
