Q: I had an accident while I was working and I wanted to know if I’m liable to the damages or the victim has an insurane

I want to know if the victim has an insurance which covers the damages and in this case it’s a vehicle.

A: It would depend on a number of factors. If you were at fault, the other side could claim damages. If it was a company vehicle, the company policy should take care of it. If it was not a company vehicle, then the other side could claim damages from your insurance - but more information is needed in terms of what the other side would claim: No-fault medical expenses? If it's a no-fault state, their insurance should take care of those. Bodily injury? They could look to your insurance. Some of the answers here depend on the state where this happened. An attorney in your state could advise better, given additional details. I hope no one was injured, but you mentioned this happening in the course of employment.
