A: I'm sorry this happened to you and your husband. A Florida attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. It looks like you want to explain your situation on the phone, but this forum doesn't work like a referral service. Attorneys can't reach out to you - if you want to consult with an attorney, you would need to reach out to one. You could search online or use the tab above, Find-a-Lawyer. These types of claims might not be handled on a contingency basis the way car accidents cases are; that's because they do not involve a bodily injury component.

No one here can tell you whether you should consider working with an attorney, or whether you should try to resolve things yourself by providing the requested information. That's up to you. But in general, these can be tough claims. They can involve Special Investigations Units and the level of scrutiny can be higher than that of the typical fender bender. You could reach out to law firms to see if you could arrange a brief, free initial consult that might be able to help you at least outline your options and help you in your decision as to how you want to proceed. Good luck
