A: You have not asked a question, but I assume you are asking what to do about the two nephews. You need to hire an attorney to help you determine the validity of their claims. It is likely that their claims are legitimate if they are the children of a predeceased sibling of yours. Having no will, assets pass pursuant to the laws of intestate succession. The laws of intestate succession in most states provide that if a person passes survived by children but no spouse, the children inherit in equal shares and the share of a predeceased child goes to his or her children.
