San Jose, CA asked in Criminal Law and Immigration Law for California

Q: What will happen to my ex-boyfriend who has 3 criminal cases and he has already been deported once in 2014?

He has been here illegally now in California since 2017. He got arrested last July 2021 while listening to loud music and drinking in a parked car in front of his house. Neighbors had called the police. Spent about a day in jail. I guess he had outstanding warrants. One charge was for "annoying a minor", another was being in possession of crystal meth. These 2 cases were back in 2014-2015 and I believe there is a 3rd case too. He has court date in a couple of months and just plans to use the public defender because he has no money for a lawyer. He does have a 2 yr old daughter who was born here. What will happen to him? Will he most likely be deported again?
