Asheville, NC asked in Traffic Tickets for Tennessee

Q: I received a speeding ticket of 68 mph in 50 mph zone but the officer listed my car as a 4 door but it's only a 2 door.

I explained to the officer I had just pulled out which was true and could not have reached that speed in the amount of time from which I was stopped. I was before 6am and dark and the officer was heading in the opposite way but stated I was clocked by radar. I have a Mustang, it is a 2 door vehicle but the citation states it is a 4 door sedan. Can I beat that because it's incorrect?

A: No. General Sessions allows oral amendments quickly for the State, if needed. Either hire an Attorney or represent yourself in a respectful manner. Bring cash for the costs.
