A: Information about a family does not get presented to a family court upon the saying of magic words. There is no abra-cadabra needed to present evidence. The key however is the timing. Typically, evidence is entered at trial. Many lawyers show up and filibuster the judge with all kinds of accusations and facts during each appearance. This is known as "colloquy" and matters for little unless the accusations indicate an imminent danger to a child or parent.

One opportunity arises during a court's investigation. Family court judges assign kids' attorneys and forensic evaluators, and after those assignments, the asker can reveal the presence of child abusers in a home. Then, the asker must stand back and allow the apparatus to do its job.
