Faber, VA asked in Divorce for Texas

Q: The judge in my case denied my No-Evidence Motion for Summary Judgment without explanation. The defendant did not file a

The defendant had not filed a response although he had more than the statutory 21 days to do so. I then filed a Motion to Set Aside the Judgment and quoted the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. I have not heard anything, so what should I do? I have no way to know on what grounds the Court found there were issues to be decided as neither the court nor the defendant has said. Is a Motion asking the Court for clarification proper? My suit is for enforcement of a provision in a Decree of Divorce. The defendant has cited no case law or citations - she just doesn't want to pony up. Her lawyer has said he wants to drag this out 'til I die (meaning me). I filed my motion for enforcement in October of 2018. I cannot travel 800 miles to the court for a trial and do not have the money to hire a lawyer, I'm afraid if I do hire a lawyer and ask for attorney's fees, the court will deny that request. What should do?

A: Motion to enforce has to be in person
