Q: If a first name name is printed incorrectly by a notary on a will is it void it says Ronald instead of Robert
None
A: This should definitely be corrected, Ronald is a big difference from Robert and while you can try to claim it is just a typo scrivener error potentially, I would not rely on it and I would get it corrected, updated and changed as soon as reasonably possible. There is no real conceivable way someone would come up with Ronald from Robert, unless it is a middle name, also known as name or nickname and you should not be using any such variations on legal documents. Do what you can to get it timely updated and corrected.
