Anaheim, CA asked in Consumer Law, Personal Injury, Civil Rights and Libel & Slander for California

Q: I'm thinking of filing a motion to seal. I was told the UD is closed/sealed. However to protect me from the ugly files

From getting opened at anytime that could possibly demean me. Plus I want the satisfaction of writing that good cause reasons why and expose him for the last time. His retaliating schemes and all my evidence got nowhere. Since the SC hearing, the commish. Glen Mondo ruled it totally incorrect under submission. I could not prove my case or show evidence in a 10 min. Window when perjury took over. I have evidence of that recorded and written. So besides my vehicle being towed during my quarantine last July without any heads-up, I lost my truck. Then he still attempted to get blood from me and writes 38 pages to Caine and Weiner collections for $38.567 for eviction aftermath and mayhem! Disputed and death with credit bureau. I sought a lawyer til no end and being homeless due to me fleeing from this predator Joe Gabrill. This is his habit since 2000. I've seen case after case this man has been at it vexaciously. His name is all over the internet. Owner of St Mary trust apartments. Thank

A: Not sure what you want to deal but probably to expensive.

You may be thinking of expungement.

However there has to be a plea or conviction.

Sealing is a lot more difficult and I suspect a judge of Gov would be involved.

A: When an Unlawful Detainer (UD) is "closed" it is not "sealed" these are two different things. You have to make an application to the Court to seal the court's files so they are only accessed with permission of a judge. You should hire an attorney to do this for you. Good luck.
