Q: How do they think your supposed to get to work if they take your license I owe back child support
I have been wondering why they do that it just makes it hard to get to work to actually pay your support and can't get hardship license for child support but can for driving drunk makes no sense
A: The theory behind it is that if you haven’t started paying support by the time they move to suspend your license, you’re never going to pay anyway so they may as well exact punishment in the form of yanking your license. You may be able to make an agreement with them to not suspend your license conditioned on you making timely weekly payments.
