A: The best thing to do is not talk to police. Each county in TX has it's own way of handling drug cases.

Most go easy on a 1st offender. You should hire an experienced attorney who knows how to handle her case and keep the matter OFF her Record. It is still possible to walk away from this without being a "criminal."

Do not think you know what to do, use a professional like myself or other attorney.

Her bail/bond should be ZERO or very little.

She will be getting tested by the court while the case is pending. There are classes and programs she can join to help her case, but ask your lawyer which ones work in your county.

She must stay out of trouble while this case is pending. I hope this helps.

Good Luck!
