However, most lawyers do not want to take a case at the last minute and be forced to file without having all the evidence................unless it is a major case with good supportive evidence.

A: Yes... if the case involves significant injuries and fairly clear liability. Most victims who wait until the last minute aren't motivated to consult with an attorney because they have minor injuries. If that's the case you can always consider small claims court. Good luck.
