A: If you were involved in a head-on collision and the at-fault driver's insurance company, AAA, is willing to settle with you but won't because the vehicle is not registered to you and you cannot find the owner, there are a few steps you can take.

First, you should contact the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in the state where the vehicle is registered and request a copy of the vehicle registration record. This record will contain the name and contact information of the registered owner.

If the registered owner cannot be located through the DMV, you may need to hire a private investigator to help you locate them. You could also try searching public records, such as property ownership records or voter registration records, to see if you can find any information on the owner's whereabouts.

If you are still unable to locate the registered owner, you may need to consult with an attorney who specializes in motor vehicle accidents and insurance law. They can advise you on your legal options and help you navigate the claims process with AAA.
